CDS Scientist Receives the OvGU Research Award 2015

Highest University Accolade for CDS Researcher
Prof. Sebastian Sager received this year's 18th 'Otto-von-Guericke-Research Award'.
The researcher was honoured for his excellent science in mathematical optimization. His interdisciplinary team, consisting of medical doctors and mathematicians, is seeking mathematical solutions that may support doctors with their decisionmaking in diagnosis and therapy. It is their aim to develop mathematical models and algorithms that may unite frequently collected data.
