Adjunct Professor Edgar Haak becomes a new CDS member
By unanimous decision, apl. Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Edgar Haak is admitted as a member of the CDS.
Innovation Prize 2021 for ContiVir
ContiVir was awarded the "Innovation Prize 2021 of the German BioRegions". Its virus purification technology was developed by Dr.-Ing. Pavel Marichal-Gallardo as part of his doctoral thesis, under the supervision of CDS member Prof. Dr.-Ing. Udo Reichl.
New Members of the Faculty of Computer Science
By unanimous decision of the Directorate, Prof. Sanaz Mostaghim and Prof. Andreas Nürnberger from the Faculty of Computer Science (FIN) were admitted to the CDS.
Funding approval for joint project PtX-Wind
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has approved the collaborative project PtX-Wind for funding.
Dr Christian Rieck was awarded the 2021 EFCE Excellence Award in Product Design and Engineering
Dr Christian Rieck was awarded the 2021 EFCE Excellence Award in Product Design and Engineering for his doctoral thesis on "Microscopic and macroscopic modelling of particle formation processes in spray fluidised beds". Dr Rieck was supervised by CDS member Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Evangelos Tsotsas.
